Because we never physically step onto the roof, there is no added stress to aging shingles, no liability from someone on your property at elevation, and no risk of a missed section due to access difficulties on steep slopes.
The most defensible insurance claim is not one filed after storm damage is discovered. It is one filed with a clear documented baseline showing the roof’s condition before the storm — and a post-storm inspection showing exactly what changed. Without a pre-storm baseline, every claim is vulnerable to the adjuster’s judgment about whether damage is new or pre-existing. With a pre-storm baseline, that judgment is replaced by evidence.
We recommend a simple annual approach: one inspection before hurricane season opens in June, and one inspection after the season’s primary window closes in November. The pre-season inspection documents current condition, flags any deferred maintenance items, and establishes the baseline. The post-season inspection captures a comparable set of images from the same angles and positions, enabling direct comparison. Changes that are new are immediately identifiable.
